Edward A. Thomas

Rev. Edward A. Thomas is the Pastor and founder of Antioch Church of Lansing. He is a native of Detroit, Michigan, where he was raised until relocating to Lansing, MI. Pastor Thomas has been married to First Lady Crystal Thomas for over three decades. They have been blessed with two beautiful children, Tamera and Edward M. Thomas. Pastor Thomas is an Ordained and Licensed Baptist minister and has been preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ since 1994. He is a gifted preacher and teacher of the word of God. Pastor Thomas has a passion for the people whereby he seeks to save those that are lost, and rekindle the fire of those that are un-churched as well as visit the sick and shut in. Pastor Thomas has a special anointing for the elderly and the young people. Young people love the down-to-earth approach that Pastor Thomas brings to their generation. Pastor Thomas is also a believer in, and an advocate for, education. He has an earned a Bachelor of Science degree,majoring in criminal justice from Ferris State University and an Master of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University. He is a College Professor and was nominated for Who’s Who among America’s Teachers by his student body. Pastor Thomas has been called the great communicator for his ability to touch all social levels of the human race. Pastor Thomas is a great motivator that believes God can raise those seemly from gutter-most to the utter-most. He is a man of integrity, purpose and vision. He believes that if you just keep the faith that God will finish what He started.
